Hello Everyone,
I have been in the markets for nearly 7+ years now; having started as an amateur participant in the markets, I moved to professional roles firstly as an analyst and then ran a research led advisory desk for a fund; post which I have been a full-time private investor, sharing my research & thoughts on this blog.
Over these years, one thing I have realized is that the single most important value addition for individuals who are not full-time into the markets lies in providing them a hand-holding with their decisions in the markets.
Providing just names of stocks or some analysis of what business they do is hardly of much value given that these things have become highly commoditized and is available in a large quantum. There are so many youtube channels, blogs and twitter accounts providing information around stock ideas, their research etc.
But the real value addition lies in helping individuals gain confidence in their decision to buy, hold and exit a particular stock at required times. And this can never be achieved by just giving out names of stocks, it can only be achieved by-
Providing detailed research highlighting why a particular stock looks good to buy now, along with what can be expected from the stock and what are the risks involved.
Providing recurring updates and insights as to why the investor should continue to hold the stock.
Providing a rational as to why the stock no longer seems attractive for investment and thus should be exited, and that too in a timely manner.
And all these have to be done for a limited set of stocks; no-one has resources available to invest into everything. So, it has to be a curated list of stocks, that too with some guidance on how much to buy.
Even though I have shared some very comprehensive research around a number of stocks on this blog, I believe that it would have not added value to a lot of people given that it was missing the essential elements of-
a. Which of this research was actually worthy of a buy decision at that moment.
b. Regular updates, that would have helped in holding onto these stocks.
c. When should one look to exit them.
And to bridge these gaps, I am very excited to introduce to you- Surge Capital.
With Surge Capital, I am looking to provide a comprehensive research offering to everyone. This would be provided under the scope of SEBI Research Analyst Regulations, under which I have secured a registration- INH000008941
