There is a good saying in the market that Time is your friend. This statement is applicable not only to your holding period of Investments, but also reflects well on your ability to Invest.
Experience is one of the best teachers in the market and overtime if one survives in the market and continue to read & invest, then one definitely develops a growing knowledge pool and that helps quite a lot.
But there is this another saying in the market that, the true reason why we have extreme boom & bursts in the market is that, we as humans always forget how the previous boom & burst ended.
Our brain has limited capacity and with so much information around, there is always an overload.
Sometime back, I was reading an article wherein the author highlighted his habit of archiving snippets of important learnings from what he was reading, and create a knowledge base of such snippets, which he can refer later.
This habit of his really struck me and I also started doing the same and over time I have accumulated a good knowledge base around many topics in Investing.
